Due to a late afternoon thunderstorm the amphitheater at the Marguerite Brown Municipal Center in Goose Creek was left "swampy and muddy" Saturday evening, April 26.Therefore, the Summerville Community Orchestra did not perform at "Symphony under the Stars" as planned.

The concert has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 24, 7 PM. The event is hosted by the City of Goose Creek and will feature two Goose Creek bands preceding the SCO's performance. The concert will conclude with the 1812 Overture and fireworks.

It is a free event. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs, picnics and coolers.
