In response to the article written by Brian Hicks for the Post and Courier;
........"Robby Robbins, who is representing Scott in this case, said he did not want the tapes released before any hearing on the subject, and questioned the speed with which the Sheriff's Office released them."

This is an outrage! Of course he doesn't want his client heard, in his drunken state, ranting and raving and cursing and threatening our peace officers and telling them their jobs are in jeopardy as soon as L.C. Knight is elected Sheriff. I only just moved here to Summerville from Hollywood, CA, 2 years ago, but have already seen more of this 'good ole boy's club' attitude than I want to. Don't we, the citizens, have the right to hear all of this since it is already covered by the Freedom of Information Act??? What an appearance of incompetent local government this man has created. Surely, every public office holder should be disgusted by this man who is one of their peers. This man is such an embarrassment that every politician who has aligned their own campaign with his, should be very quickly distancing themselves from him and his campaign. I hope this judge will see that the best thing for him to do is to lift this ban for your newspaper so we can all hear what was said. EVERYONE needs to hear this... Things like this should be "mandatory listening" for every voter in Dorchester County prior to the election. Everyone needs to see and hear this drunken power-wielding bully in action. This man is an insult and embarrassment to every single resident in Dorchester County and I certainly hope he is voted out in the upcoming election. The good citizens of this county need to send him and his cronies that this way of doing politics in Dorchester County will be tolerated no longer. I know which way I'll be voting and it is a vote for competence in government.
