Some say it is lonely at the top, but the three finalists in the South Carolina Department of Education Poster Contest keep each other company because they are all from Beech Hill Elementary School. Austin Saracina, Kathleen Reddy, and Jordan Wilder are all finalists in the art competition for the design of the SCDOT Poster with the theme of "One Nation on the Move." Miss Jordan Wilder placed first in Dorchester District II. Principal Rene Wyatt Harris added, "These students have done their personal best for Beech Hill so let's give them a big shout out!!" Art teachers Jana Hooks and Letitia Uyak said this was their first year in this competition and their students enjoyed the challenge.
