The first graders of Summerville Catholic School have been studying countries around the world. The children made flags, a paper doll with a traditional costume, and a report about their chosen country. As a culminating activity, the first grade students enjoyed an International Lunch contributed by their parents. Some of the delicious menu items were: Lebanon salad, a quiche from France, pancit from the Phillipines, cake from Peru, and a rice dish from Ecuador.
