Today, May 30th, a young girl had her bicycle stolen from the rack outside of Guerins Pharmacy. I would like to ask the person who took the bicycle to return the bicycle to the back yard at Guerins and I will see to it that it is returned to the young girl. I do not know her name but I do know the other kids she was with so she will be easy to find. If the person/persons do not think this is a good idea then I have a few things for them to think about. When you are riding the bicycle this summer and you hit a bump, maybe the jolt will remind you that the bicycle belongs to someone else. For your friends that will spend the summer riding with you, I hope the same bumps jolt them in to persuading you to leave the bicycle in our back yard. To your parents, I hope they will notice that the bicycle was not purchased by them and ask a few questions.

I would like to thank the Summerville police officer who responded very quickly to the call for help. I did not get to personally talk to the officer but the kids said he was very nice.

I would also like to remind the kids who do ride their bicycles to Guerins, please bring your locks with you and use them this summer.

Thank You,
Barbara Dunning
Guerins Pharmacy
