I want to urge your readers to vote for and support Jenny Horne in her campaign to represent us in the State House of Representatives. Over the past several years Jenny Horne has proven herself to be an energetic, intelligent, committed and forward thinking advocate for students in our school district. She has worked countless hours on behalf of middle school students in our district by seeking support and funding for programs that have clearly proven to have a positive impact on student achievement.

In these days of tight budgets, Jenny Horne has shown determination, ingenuity and the utmost regard for taxpayers in Dorchester County by hunting down and finding innovative, tax payer neutral sources of funding for special programs to help middle school children. Thos programs included after school and mentoring programs for middle school students in our county. She does not even have a child in middle school! Jenny has worked so tirelessly because it is simply the right thing to do. If the determination and selfless energy that she has shown in her pursuit of help for struggling middle school children is any indication of how she will represent us in Columbia, then I am convinced that she will be an outstanding Representative and a genuine champion for us all. So, please, vote for Jenny Horne in the Republican Primary on June 10th.
