With the primary looming large on June 10th, the abundance of candidate
support letters provides hope for large numbers at the poll. In many
races, the primary IS the election. This is the opportunity for citizens
to express the ultimate rating of approval or disapproval of representation
by the elected officials. Let them stay or throw them out and give someone
else a chance. Personalities should be put aside and records reviewed for
those who have had the positions. Did they do what was best for their
constituents? Did they cater to individual interests or do what was right?
Are we better off than when they took office. Several candidates now
previously held office. What did they do then? Is it time for a
revolution? At the end of the day, the most important thing is
participation. Take the time, make the effort, cast your ballot.
With Kind Regards,
