Kristen Kent Lee of Summerville, South Carolina, and Kyle James Richard of
Savannah, Georgia, were married March 15, 2008 at The Citadel's Summerall
Chapel in Charleston. The 6 PM ceremony was officiated by Rev. Robert
Howell of Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville. A reception
followed at the Colonial Ballroom of the Francis Marion Hotel.
The bride is the daughter of Kent and Carol Lee of Summerville. She is the
granddaughter of Mary Woods of North Charleston and the late Robert B.
Mellor, and Jean Dart of Gateway, Arkansas, and the late Robert E. Lee.
She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
The groom is the son of Roy and Maggie Richard of Savannah, Georgia. He is
the grandson of Nancy Dunlap of Savannah, Georgia, and the late Cecil
Dunlap of Granite City, Illinois, and the late Robert and Juanita Richard
of Granite City, Illinois. He is a graduate of Newberry College and is
employed by Mountaire Farms of Selbyville, Delaware, as the director of
sales.
The bride wore a full-length strapless gown with a sweet-heart neckline and
was given in marriage by her father.
The bridesmaids were her sister Jennifer Fraser, matron of honor, her
sister Stacey Lee, maid of honor, and Kristen Dunleavy, Erin O'Dell, and
Elizabeth Sykes. Ainsley Fraser, the bride's niece, was the flower girl
and Drayton Huffman, her cousin, was the ring bearer.
The best man was was the groom's brother, Matthew Richard. Groomsmen were
Garner Regenovich, Adam Langley, Wes Pye, and Shay Gregorie.
The groom's parents hosted a rehersal dinner at the Renaissance Hotel. The
couple honeymooned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and now reside in Fruitland,
Maryland.
