The Athletics (7-9 year olds) edged out the Braves 11-9 to win the 7-9 year old Championship, and avenge their only loss of the season. The A's were led all year by the talented tandom of Cameron Burnette at first base and Brendon Case at short stop, but it was the play of the entire team that gave them the Championship. They finished the season 11-1 with a high powered offense scoring over 200 runs, and great fielding that led them to the Championship.
