South Carolina Federal Credit Union recently celebrated the official grand opening of its new Summerville branch with a ribbon cutting attended by Mayor Berlin G. Myers.

The branch brings the credit union's Life Simplified brand concept to life with double stack drive-thrus; self-service coin counting machines that automatically deposit into members' accounts; electronic rate and information boards; and other conveniences for members' use, such as paper shredders for secure documents; full service, in-lobby ATMs; iTeller stations and greeters to help with simple requests.

The new branch at 1000 North Main St., Summerville, replaced the previous Summerville branch located at 234 North Main St.
