Friday, 8/1 from 6-9pm at Dogwood Park in Goose Creek.

Registration for the course will be from 6-6:30pm. The cost is $25.00 to be made payable to SCYSA.

Coaches should come ready to participate in the field sessions.

National Youth License Module - General Certificate SCYSA offers three levels of Youth Module courses for beginner coaches. In addition to the three Youth Module courses Level I U6-U8, Level II U8-U10 and Level III U10-U12, a General Certificate course is offered to assist the beginner youth soccer coach. This is a three-hour course in duration that covers topics such as the Art of Coaching, Learning through Game Activities, Successful Player Development, Philosophy of Coaching, and the use of Small Sided Games. With the implementation of mandatory coaching education that began in 2007 this course will not only assist the beginner coach but will meet the minimum coaching requirements for these age groups (U6-U12) in SCYSA/USYSA sanctioned leagues/clubs.

This training course should be attended by anyone interested in coaching in the LYSL, Re-Plus League this fall at the YMCA.

Please contact Neil Veloso at neil.v@bellsouth.net or by phone at 843-822-8677 to pre-register.
